Shoreham Port imports around 440,000 cubic metres of timber each year. Currently, most of the timber comes from the Scandinavian and Baltic Regions in the North of Europe.
The Port is fully equipped for handling and storing timber, with over 36,000 square metres of covered storage space available, numerous cranes and forklift trucks and one of the most advanced stock control systems in the industry – Track-a-Pack.
Shoreham Port is the largest timber handling port on the South Coast of England.
